We usually have puppies coming up. Sometimes we have one available right now — not always, and the ones on the ground get spoken for early. Apply and join the waitlist; that's the surest way to the puppy you want.

You apply first — tell us about your family and what you’re hoping for in a dog. Once we’ve connected, we add you to the waitlist; when a litter is born we call people on the list in order and help match a puppy to your home. No money changes hands until we’ve talked.

A vet check, up-to-date shots, deworming, a microchip, AKC paperwork, and a starter bag of the food they’re used to.

Because we do not sell to just anyone. We want to know that each family has the time, setup, and plan to care for a Basset Hound puppy.

They are sweet family dogs, but they are still hounds. Expect ears to clean, weight to watch, a strong nose, a big voice, and a stubborn streak. Our Why a Basset Hound page goes deeper.
